About Us

We are the Fluvanna site of the BASS USA Swim Club. Our mission is to provide swimmers in and around the Fluvanna area with a fun, safe, and supportive environment that encourages growth and improvement. We are committed to helping each athlete develop swimming skills, physical fitness, confidence, and strong character.


At BASS in Fluvanna, success is measured by growth, effort, and teamwork. We emphasize sportsmanship, team spirit, and the importance of always striving to do your best.

Important Notes

  • Dryland training is available for Senior, HS Senior, and Pre-Senior athletes every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15–6:15 pm.
  • Most Swimmers are expected to commit to at least one full season at a time.
  • Junior Dev, Age Group Dev, and Senior Dev athletes may participate on a month-to-month basis.
  • Practice groups, schedules, and age ranges may be adjusted when appropriate. Families with scheduling concerns are encouraged to contact us at info@FluvannaSwimming.org.
  • Coaches may recommend practice group adjustments based on swimmer development, attendance, and readiness for advancement.
  • BASS in Fluvanna takes the month of August off from all team operations before the start of the new swim year the day after Labor Day.
