Registration Info

Swim Team & Lessons Registration

All swim team and swim lesson registrations are completed through our team management platform, Captyn. To get started, visit our team page at FluvannaSwimming.Captyn.com or go to the “Account Management” tab and create or log into your family account.

Once logged in, you will be able to view available programs and complete registration for either our learn-to-swim program or swim team. You will select the appropriate program, enter swimmer and family information, choose billing preferences, and acknowledge required team policies and agreements as part of the registration process.

After registration is complete, all program communication, billing, scheduling updates, and account information will be managed directly through your Captyn account.

Meet & Event Registration

Meet and team event registrations are completed through your Captyn account at FluvannaSwimming.Captyn.com. Once entries open, families can select their swimmer’s events directly within the platform.

Athletes are generally encouraged to choose the events they would like to swim. In some cases, coaches may also communicate with swimmers or families regarding specific events based on training focus or development goals.

If there is any confusion about event selection, please email us at info@fluvannaswimming.org and we are happy to assist with meet entries and guidance.

All entries must be submitted by the posted deadline to ensure proper registration for competition.

USA Swimming Registration

USA Swimming registration is completed separately from Captyn through USA Swimming. Families will create an account and register their swimmer directly through the USA Swimming website when prompted for meet eligibility.

USA Swimming offers several membership options based on participation level, including Flex, Seasonal, and Premium athlete memberships.

BASS provides its own team insurance for practices and team activities, so USA Swimming registration is only required if a swimmer plans to compete in sanctioned meets. For returning athletes, the team completes bulk USA Swimming renewals each year, which are billed to families at the end of the calendar year.
